As the Missouri Arboretum, the Northwest Missouri State campus is a place where people can learn about and celebrate trees. The campus is home to more than 1,700 trees and more than 130 species that have grown and matured during the University's long history of tree preservation. As you walk the campus, you will notice the pride we take in our trees, which are routinely pruned and shaped to create the welcoming educational outdoor environment that Northwest Missouri State University embraces.
